Men Art Work

(2013)

Since 2010, I have been developing a series of works that combine my two professional activities starting on 2006, that of artist and that of art worker in different positions. (Museography, assistant gallery director, gallery director, gallery assistant and director of private collection).

In all of them I have had contact or access to a series of materials specific to each position or each location.

This duality led me to combine both activities where one nourishes the other.

In this particular series, I turn to the folders for daily use in the office, and I turn them into content by drawing on it with materials such as ink and liquid Tipex, typical of the office. The Dymo, which was part of my childhood thanks to my father, fulfills a double function in the pieces, since it identifies the folder as art and raises, on the opposite side of the drawing, a linguistic puzzle that is only solved "when Art makes sense"
